U.S. Senate candidate, Rep. Donna Edwards (D. MD), was on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher tonight. She was on a panel with NPR’s All Things Considered Ari Shapiro, The Daily Caller’s Michael Lewis and comedian Sarah Silverman and Muslim activist Raheel Raza were on the show to discuss a number of issues. One of them was the heated, hateful rhetoric of Donald Trump at his own campaigns versus Hillary Clinton’s recent call for more love and kindness in the world. You can check out the clip below:
x YouTube VideoEdwards praised Clinton’s recent words at her rally and said she should continue to “full embrace being a woman and never apologize for it.” After the show, they went on to Overtime on YouTube where Edwards had some great words on the GOP trying to hype up the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s e-mails and talked about how the Democratic primary between Hillary and Bernie Sanders is a real debate between two highly qualified candidates while the GOP primary is just one big ugly mess. She also discussed how even though Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D. MD) has greatly outraised her in money in her primary, she remains two points ahead in the polls because she has the people on her side.
