MD & PA-Sen, MD-08, MD-04, PA-08: EMILY's List Goes All In To Make Big Gains In These Two States

Received this e-mail today from EMILY’s List:

Spring is here, and we're heading into marathon season. The pace is ramping up for our candidates with primaries all over the country, and our list of endorsed women is growing. On April 26th, voters head to the polls in Maryland and Pennsylvania to decide tight congressional races. Our Maryland women are running for strong Democratic seats, so winning the primary is the first, and biggest, hurdle for them. Donna Edwards could be the first African American woman elected to the Senate in over 20 years, bringing a much-needed perspective to the chamber. Kathleen Matthews and Joseline Peña-Melnyk are running for House seats that we have to hold on to if we're going to keep cutting down the Republican majority. We're with them every step of the way. Donate now to help pro-choice Democratic women win their primaries. Katie McGinty's got a tight race for Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate seat. She's racking up endorsements from labor unions and environmental organizations, and just last week President Obama came out in support of her. Katie has to win her primary this month so she can gear up to unseat extremist Republican Senator Pat Toomey in November. Shaughnessy Naughton's got an uphill battle in Pennsylvania too — she's working to flip a red House seat to blue. Before the end of spring we'll have more primaries and endorsements for women like Katie, Shaughnessy, and Donna all across the country. To keep up the pace, we need you with us. Donate now to help pro-choice Democratic women win: https://action.emilyslist.org/Spring-Sprint Thanks, Lucinda Guinn Vice President of Campaigns, EMILY's List
