In a blatant attempt to suppress legal voters from casting ballots on Election Day, the all Republic County Commission in Culvert Maryland are closing public transit on Election Day. Calvert Democrats are organizing rides to the polls and info is found below.
UPDATE: Late Monday morning the county issued a press release announcing public transportation services will be available Nov. 6 "due to heightened interest."
