Let’s help flip the MI House delegation to blue! Join us this Saturday, October 6th, to canvass on behalf of Haley Stevens (among the newest Obama endorsees) in MI-11. As a special bonus: the day’s events feature a Kossack visitor from metro DC: Tamar!
Tamar and several of her friends live in solidly blue states, so for the past few elections they’ve traveled to canvass in a more purple area. What better place to pick this year than MI-11, an open seat with the welcome retirement of the odious Dave Trott, the “Foreclosure King” of Michigan, where Haley Stevens is running an excellent campaign and has a real chance of victory!
The plan is to meet for lunch at 1:00 PM somewhere in the greater Troy area, then canvass from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, starting at THIS NEW LOCATION: Brogan and Partners, 800 N Old Woodward Ave, Birmingham, MI 48009
For lunch, I’m nominating Da Nang, One South Main (at 14 Mile Rd.) in Clawson for our lunch spot. It’s very highly rated, though I’ve not been there myself.
Anyone in metro Detroit (or beyond!) is welcome to join us for lunch and/or canvassing. Why not have fun and do good at the same time?
