Received this e-mail today from Democracy for America:

What do Georgia, Arizona, Florida, and and Maryland have in common?

They all have DFA-endorsed progressives running for governor, and they need your help in these last few weeks before Election Day to win!

Will you RSVP right now to make calls in support of Andrew Gillum, Stacey Abrams, Ben Jealous, and David Garcia this Saturday, September 29th through our DFA Dialer?

Yes! I’ll sign up to make calls in support of these progressive gubernatorial candidates.

No, I can’t make calls this Saturday, but I’ll chip in $3 right now to show my support.

These four candidates have run incredibly inspiring, people-powered campaigns in each of their states, and if they win this November, they’ll make history.

Andrew Gillum is running for Governor of Florida to hold the NRA accountable, support quality public education and affordable health care, and ensure every Floridian has a chance to succeed. After defeating four formidable millionaires in the primary, he now has the chance to become Florida’s first Black governor. Stacey Abrams is ready to fight for equality as Governor of Georgia, dedicated to providing working families and Georgians the opportunities it takes to succeed, not just survive. She turned out an unprecedented grassroots movement to win her primary – now, she’s on her way to becoming the first Black woman governor in U.S. history. Ben Jealous spent his life as a community organizer fighting for economic and racial justice. Today he’s running for Governor of Maryland with a bold agenda including Medicare for All, a $15 minimum wage, and action on climate change. He too can make history by becoming Maryland’s first Black governor this November. David Garcia is a proud product of Arizona’s public schools, a veteran, and a professor who’s running to become Governor of Arizona. He’s committed to supporting public schools and teachers, as well as establishing universal community college and debt-free four-year degree programs at state universities. With your help, he can be Arizona’s first Latino governor in four decades.

As you can tell, there’s a lot on the line in these four critical governor races, and time is running out to get out the vote before November 6th.

That’s why we need you now: Will you make calls to help these four progressive gubernatorial candidates defeat Republican incumbents and make history?

Yes! Sign me up to get out the vote for these awesome candidates this Saturday.

No – this Saturday’s not good for me – but I will chip in to DFA and help them win.

These progressive candidates got where they are today with the help of grassroots supporters like you. Let’s help them make it over the finish line in their critical, competitive races and make transformational change this Election Day.

Thanks,

- Karli
