Residents of one New Market, Maryland neighborhood say they are being terrorized by their neighbor, Shaun Porter. Neighbors say Porter erects large, offensive signs in his yard—calling out residents, members of the neighborhood home owners association, even the local sheriff. He has placed numerous Confederate flags around his property and his vehicles, even spent an entire day in his front yard (as pictured above) with his middle-school-aged son, covered in Confederate flag clothing, waving to and taunting neighbors. Neighbors also report that he regularly displays assault rifles and weapons in the front windows of his home. Does this sound like someone stable enough to own an assault rifle?

Neighbors were able to get him on video (as seen in the Fox 5 report below) as he closely followed a school bus, intimidating neighborhood children.

Local police say they are investigating, but have not charged him with a crime. See an interview with one of his neighbors below, where he says they feel threatened day in and day out:

"He's threatening. He's harassing…Thursday night he put my name on that truck -- then it became a direct attack," said Dante after Porter allegedly spray-painted his name and a profanity on his truck.

"My family, in 2015, should not be subject to a hate crime…it's absolutely ridiculous…I feel like I'm living in the 50s,” he said.
